Ten years ago, Martina and Jure bought the hotel from previous owners. With a great deal of love and devotion, they decided to revive the soul of this space and breathe new life into it. With a commitment to details and a sense of tradition, they renovated the hotel in the traditional Alpine spirit with a touch of nostalgic charm.
Every corner of the hotel tells a story of the past and present. The walls are decorated with vintage photographs depicting life in Alpine villages, and old objects from everyday life are chosen with special care to bring back your memories of times gone by. The breakfast room smells of delicious breakfasts.
They paid special attention to the comfort of the rooms, where every guest can find shelter from the Alpine winds. They chose the wooden furniture pieces personally, following the local artisanal traditions. In every room you can feel the love for details that create an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
Berghi Hotel and Apartments is not just a place to spend the night, it is a true experience of Alpine life. Jure and Martina have created a place where guests not only feel welcome, but also feel the pulse of the past, which they have carefully preserved and at the same time modernized for the modern traveler.
The story of our House is a story of love for the place, tradition and hospitality. When you walk through the door, you feel that you are part of something special, something that transcends time and the everyday journey.

ATM | You can find ATMs next to Mercator Shop on the outskirts (DH Banka) or in the strict center near Mercator Shop (NLB) or opposite Intersport (SKB) and behind the Prisank hotel (Gorenjska banka). |
Reading corner | In our cozy lounge on the ground floor of the Berghi I House, you can find a reading corner and free books/magazines. Please return the borrowed material after use. |
Wake-up service | For the wake-up service, please contact the reception. |
Check-in Check-out | Check-in is possible from 14:00. On the last day of your stay, you must leave the accommodation by 10 am. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact reception regarding availability. In case of early departure, we charge 100% of the total amount for all ordered services. When you leave, double check that you haven't forgotten anything. |
Money and valuables | We advise you to keep money and valuables with you. The staff does not accept responsibility for valuables you leave in the accommodation. |
Voltage | The mains voltage is 220 V. You can borrow a power adapter at the reception. |
House rules | The night quiet time in the hotel lasts from 22:00 until 7:00. During this time, persons using the hotel’s services are obliged to behave in a manner that does not disturb the peace of other guests. Guests must not make noise, make noise or use acoustic or other devices that would cause noise and disturb other guests. Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the facility (Act on the prohibition of smoking in closed public spaces). Violation of smoking is punishable by a fine for both the violator and the manager of the apartment building. If non-compliance with the house rules is discovered, we reserve the right to cancel your stay. |

Pet door hanger | When pets are staying with you, you can receive a door hanger at the reception, which you can hang on the outside of the door and use it to indicate that there is a pet in the room. In this case, we will not enter your room while the your pet is inside. |

Room heating | The Berghi house is centrally heated during the heating season. Individual heating regulation for individual rooms is possible with valves on the radiator. |
Defects Malfunctions | The guest should notify the hotel reception about any damage immediately after it has been detected. In case of problems or malfunctions report them to the reception and we will fix them as soon as possible. |
Children's playroom | Children's playroom is located between the 2nd and 3rd floor. It is suitable for children up to 5 years old. The light switch is located behind the door, on the right side. Please turn off the lights when you leave the room |
Parking | Berghi House offers free parking for its guests. Please do not park on the surfaces of neighboring houses or facilities. If the parking lot is occupied, contact the reception desk for help, our staff will advise you on alternative parking areas. Please park wisely, in case you have blocked the exit or another guest's car, leave your phone number at the reception. |
Hiking and cycling trails | Kranjska Gora and its surroundings offer many opportunities for hikers and recreational cyclists. We invite you to inquire about routes and equipment rental at the reception or at www.kranjska-gora.si/aktivnosti |
Inventory damage | We expect a respectful attitude towards inventory and equipment. Please do not damage or remove inventory. The guest is responsible for damage caused through his fault or the fault of those for whom he is responsible and those who visit him. Damage to the inventory caused by the guest in the room or elsewhere in the hotel will be charged as compensation. You settle the bill at the reception. |

Laundry service | Ask at the reception for the price of laundry service, we do not offer ironing. Put the clothes to be washed in any bag you have available and bring it to the reception. If necessary, you can also get a laundry bag at the reception. Laundry submitted for washing by 09:00 will be returned to you the next day by 10:00. |

Bicycle garage | Bicycle garage is located downstaris under the lounge. It is protected by video surveillance and a code that the guest receives at the reception. Access to the bicycle garage is from the inner courtyard. Please make sure that the garage is always locked, this is the only way to keep your bikes safe. |
Storage room for skis and ski boots | Ski storage is located in the ski cellar. It is protected by video surveillance and a code that the guest receives at the reception. Access to the cellar is from the inner courtyard. Please ensure that the cellar is always locked, this is the only way to keep your ski equipment safe. For ski boots, we have a special storage room with heaters for drying/heating ski boots. It is located on the lower floor of Berghi House I, which can be entered with a code identical to the code for the ski cellar. |

HOTEL INFORMATION
Vending machine for hot drinks | It is available on the ground floor of Apatmajska Hiša Berghi I. The price of the drink is 1 EUR, the machine does not return change. We can exchange coins for you at the reception. Coffee, cocoa and tea are available. |
Cleaning | The final cleaning of the accommodation is included in the price, but if you want additional cleaning during your stay, contact the reception. The price of additional cleaning is charged according to the price list. |
Grill/Barbecue | Barbecue is available, free of charge, for all apartment units in the Berghi II House. |
Pets | Pets are welcome in the accommodation, but by prior arrangement and against payment. Please respect the house rules regarding the stay of domestic animals. Pets may not be left unattended and may not enter the breakfast room. Pet owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets. The hotel reserves the right to charge for damage caused by pets. For the safety and comfort of your pet, the maid will not clean the room if your pet is in it without your presence. However, if you will be present when the maid arrives, make sure the animal is on a leash or in a cage. Let the reception know when you would like the maid to clean your room. Please hang a hanger on the door handle to inform the staff of the presence of the animal. |
Luggage storage | Luggage storage is available by prior arrangement at the reception. In case of early arrival, you can leave your belongings in the designated area and immediately start enjoying your holiday. |
Room key | The guest of the accommodation is solely responsible for the room key. In case of loss, we charge EUR 40.00. |

Denial of services | We reserve the right to refuse accommodation and other services to those guests whose behavior does not comply with the house rules, casues disturbance to other guests or staff, or threatens their safety or well-being. |

Waste management | Waste bins for separate waste collection are available in all units. Please ask at the reception for additional garbage bags. |
Change of towels and bed linen | We are actively trying to reduce the impact on the environment and you can help us. The maid will only change the towels in the rooms if you put them on the bathroom floor; in apartment units, towels are changed only at the guest's request. .Bed linen is changed every fifth day of your stay. If you do not need fresh bedding, please inform the staff. |
Energy saving | Turn off the lights when you don't need them. In winter, do not open the window if the temperature is too high, but reduce the heating level on the radiator valves. |
Water saving | If you notice that the water in the toilet bowl or at the tap is dripping, please call the reception. Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth or shaving. Be rational when using water when showering. |
Water | Water is one of nature's most precious goods. We invite you to join us in protecting this valuable asset and use it sparingly. All tap water is good to drink and we invite you to enjoy the quality of Slovenian water. |
